Bike Parking
Q: Is there a place to park my bike?
A: While we don’t have a dedicated bike stand outside, we are happy to accommodate your rental bike securely inside our closed garage. Additionally, our property is located on a relatively quiet and safe dead-end street, offering a more secure environment for your bike compared to downtown areas.
Last minute cancellations & refunds
Q: What is your cancellation policy and can I get a refund if I cancel last minute?
A: As a small family-run business, we are happy to accommodate all cancellations and provide a 100% refund. Your bookings are fully cancellable, and you will receive all your money back. However, we would kindly ask our guests to consider that last-minute cancellations mean we lose the entire revenue for that booking. Therefore, we would greatly appreciate it if you could let us know as far in advance as possible if you need to cancel. All bookings cancelled up to 13:00 on the check in date via Email to hello@stayinbonn.com will be refunded 100%.
Check-in and check-out
Q: What are your check-in and check-out times?
A: We offer flexible check-in and check-out times to accommodate your travel plans. We have a key box available, so if we are not home when you arrive, you can easily access the key for self-check-in. Similarly, check-out times can often be flexible, especially if we don’t have other guests arriving on the same day. The most important thing is clear communication: please let us know your expected arrival time and when you plan to depart so we can make the necessary arrangements.
Lake access
Q: Can I go swimming or running around the lake?
A: Unfortunately, not. We would also love to offer that experience, but since the lake is privately owned, there’s no access for swimming or running around it. However, you can enjoy beautiful views of the lake right from the comfort of your apartment window.
Invoicing
Q: Will you be able to directly invoice my employer (for example, DHL or Telekom) in case of a Boarding house booking?
A: Yes, we are happy to align with the organization directly and send over the invoice for payment. Please send us the details of your HR business partner and the accurate invoicing details, including the cost center, and we will take care of the rest.
Airport transfers
Q: Do you offer airport transfers?
A: Yes. We provide convenient private transfers to and from Cologne Bonn Airport (CGN). You can add this service during checkout or let us know in advance, and we’ll arrange it for you. To help us plan your transfer, please share your flight number and arrival/departure time when booking.
E-Bike rental
Q: Can I rent an e-bike during my stay?
A: Yes, we have one e-bike available for our guests. It comes with a helmet and lock and can be rented on a daily basis. Since availability is limited, please let us know in advance if you’d like to use it so we can reserve it for your stay.
